In just a few years Rhone has taken the men’s activewear market by storm with their focus on making comfortable clothing that outperforms the competition. Created by guys for guys, the company’s whole focus is on helping customers perform their best in comfort and style. Rhone has given Cool Hunting the first look at their brand new Reign T-shirt and new colors of their best-selling Mako shorts and Element T-shirt. Here’s what you need to know, and why you probably need to gear up.

“We’re using the best materials on the planet to make the best gear on the planet,” says Kyle McClure, Rhone’s Creative Director. Rhone spends more on fabrics than most, delivering odor-fighting, four-way stretch, moisture-wicking and more in styles that are functional, practical and look good, too. There’s no massive logo emblazoned across your chest or butt; instead, each item features Rhone’s “captain’s stitch” in a subtle location and tasteful placement, signifying the brand’s three pillars—form, fit and function—which guide the brand and the design of all of its products. Everything is there for a well thought-out reason.

The just-launched Reign T-shirt provides a more technical edge, blending polyester, nylon, XT2 (SilverTech) and spandex to deliver a comfortable, easy-to-wear piece with great moisture-wicking and odor control. The Reign feels soft, works hard, and the heather weave steps up your style game. Where other brands offer odor-control by way of coatings that wash off, Rhone weaves theirs into the fabric, so it lasts much longer—the lifetime of the garment.

Stepping up your shorts game, the multi-purpose Mako shorts feature a lightweight, four-way stretch fabric, lay flat seams that don’t rub, a gusset that gives you room to bend, and plenty of pockets, including a “power mesh” media pocket which stretches to snugly support your phone. They’ll keep you dry, too, with their moisture-wicking technology. They’ve just launched Green Gables, a dark shade of green and their sixth color.

If you prefer a cotton-based T-shirt, check out the best-selling Element. It’s made form 75% Peruvian Pima cotton, with polyester, XT2 (SilverTech) and spandex to provide the performance and odor-control you need in a super-soft T-shirt that easily goes from work to play. They’ve just launched five new colors: Blue Steel, Dawn, Iron Gate Gray, Tiger and Black.

Visit RHONE to check out the Reign and Element T-shirts, Mako shorts along with the rest of their styles, and sign up to learn more about their upcoming launch of their even higher performing moisture-wicking technology.
