The Human-Rating App “Peeple” is Real
Back when it was announced, Peeple—an app that would let you rate other human beings—drew outrage for its obvious potential as a platform for cyber-bullying. It looks like the backlash didn’t deter the developers from completing the project, as they’ve released the app today—albeit in a pared-back version. Users will still be able to rate others, but those being reviewed will first need to opt-in to the service and will ultimately be able to control which reviews are published.
