Collection Two: Uganda From The Citizenry

Collaborating with local artisans via Rose & Fitzgerald, a textured geometric offering for the home or office

Following a successful first release, incorporating materials and craftsmanship from Peru and Argentina, socially conscious design house The Citizenry presents Collection Two: Uganda. Partnering with artisans throughout the country to source materials and draw on countless years of experience, the collection balances natural texture with contemporary geometric design. Kampala-based design studio Rose & Fitzgerald served as collaborators for the collection drawing on local connections. A major tenet of both businesses is ensuring that every step—from design to production—is taken equitably and sustainably, investing in local communities. The Milma desk set is a standout with its Mugavu wood grain while the cow horn tumblers are surefire conversation starters.

Spanning lamps, trays, planters, tumblers and baskets (in addition to the handsome desk set) the 15 piece collection ranges in price from $35 to $225.
