Studio Ayaskan's GROWTH Planter

An origami-like pot that grows with your plant

It's safe to say that there are plenty of eye-catching planters on the market. That said, there's nothing quite like London-based Studio Ayaskan's new concept, GROWTH. More than just exquisite geometric patterning, the pot actually unfolds and grows as the plant it holds blooms and its roots extend. This is not the first company to offer this, but the origami-like nature of the piece sets it apart beautifully. Thus, one can forego repotting and allow the planter and plant to thrive together as the plant itself pushes the container outward as it expands. The piece was designed by identical twin brothers, Bike and Begum Ayaskan, and can expand up to four times its original size, only requiring the addition of soil—which is healthy for a growing plant anyway.

Ayaskan plans to produce the product in the next coming months. Sign up for their mailing list to receive updates.
