Product design firm Made in Mind has perfected the foldable USB adapter for AC sockets for people planning a visit to the UK. After years of development, the Mu is now available worldwide. The adaptor attaches to any USB cable, whether you’re looking to charge your smartphone or Kindle. You can also use all your charging cords, one at a time, in conjunction with this one small hub.
It’s pretty, but more importantly, it’s very portable. It can easily fit into a pocket, and is even slim enough not to bulge. In two quick steps, it unfolds to fit UK sockets. Whether at home, hauling your charging supplies to meetings or on a trip, this really is a compact and well-designed option to meet an everyday need.
This is the first product by Made in Mind and based upon their Folding Plug design. Its folding flat storage feature is 70% smaller than some chargers and is compatibility with all USB charging cords makes it incredibly versatile. The Mu USB adapter is available for £25 online.
