Standard International’s One Night App Incorporates Other Luxury Hotels

Book the best NYC and LA properties, last minute and at a reasonable price

It’s not often that a hotel brand develops a platform that’s so successful they decide to open the service to competitors. And yet, that’s the case with the new One Night app from Standard International (owners of the Standard Hotels and developers of the original iteration: One Night Standard). Much like the original iteration, One Night allows users to book same-day reservations after 3PM at a discounted rate. The previous app, however, was for Standard Hotels only. The new one works with a curated list containing some of the best prestige properties, upscale hotels and boutique escapes in both NYC and LA. The app stakes claim to the title of first third-party mobile distribution platform for hotels designed by a hotel company, but the benefits outweigh the acclaim. A hotel room can be booked at a superb property in around a minute.

The app has been designed around the experience of staying at the affiliate hotels—meaning, the idea of lifestyle is placed first and foremost. Once guests select their city and then the hotel they’re most interested in, pricing (the cheapest available for the night) is offered. The app also provides a dedicated experience guide to the hotel and its surrounding neighborhood. All of the hotels (none of which hail from major chains) were selected as partners because of their lifestyle offerings. These are all luxury properties, of course, but it’s never been so easy to snag one for just about as cheap as they can get.

Download One Night for free on iOS and Android. Affiliate hotels include NYC’s 1 Hotel Central Park, 11 Howard, The Carlyle, Gramercy Park Hotel, The Ludlow Hotel, The NoMad Hotel, Refinery Hotel, SIXTY SoHo, Urban Cowboy, Viceroy Central Park, The Standard, High Line and the Wythe Hotel. LA offerings include Calamigo Guest Ranch + Beach Club, Casa Laguna Hotel + Spa, The Line, Oceana Beach Club Hotel, Palihotel Melrose, Palihouse Santa Monica, Palihouse West Hollywood, Petit Ermitage, The Redbury Hollywood, SIXTY Beverly Hills, The Standard, Hollywood, Sparrows Lodge, and the Viceroy L’Ermitage Beverly Hills. One Night plans to expand its services to San Francisco, Austin, Miami, Las Vegas, and Chicago over the course of the next year.
