Few protective cases match the sophisticated design of the iPhone—though rare, they are out there. Take the fantastically named Curvaceous Bumper for iPhone 5 and 5s from Japanese accessories brand Squair, for example. Made entirely in Japan, the machined aluminum bumper is cut from a single block of the material for a sturdy, seamless design lacking witness marks that plague most plastic alternatives. The exterior feels lovely in the hand, and the interior is coated to ensure the edges of your phone remain unblemished. The smooth edges soften the otherwise stern design of the iPhone 5s, making it easy to slide in and out of pockets while at the same time calling to mind the rounded body of the iPhone 3G and its predecessors.

As with most quality products, the Curvaceous Bumper comes with a rather imposing price of ¥24,801 (around $250). Visit Squair for more information and Zozotown to purchase.
