Combining cycling and headphones doesn’t immediately sound like the safest or most practical idea, but when London-based cycling accessories- and apparel-maker Rapha and Danish audio technology pioneers Bang & Olufsen team up, it’s bound to be a success. Made for use off the bike (during warm-ups, travel and recovery) the Rapha + Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H6 injects distinct Rapha styling and materials into the lightweight H6. The earpads feature the same buttery African hair sheep leather as the Rapha GT Gloves (the original BeoPlay H6 features lambskin leather). Meanwhile the the headband draws on materials from the brand’s line of Pro Team products.

“Music is a catalyst for focused performance and we are delighted to pair our mission to develop the best performing products for road cycling with a company that so truly believes in the love of form and expression,” says Head of Brand at Rapha James Fairbank of the collaboration. Expect to see Team Sky warming up for each race with these headphones over the summer season.
