Wearable tech has never been more pleasurable—or sexy—than the products developed by Crave. Their high-quality adult objects stand apart from the majority of the market for their innovative and sleek design, from leather bracelets that turn into handcuffs to a near-silent vibrator that also works as a flash drive. Their newest addition Vesper similarly doesn't disappoint in its sophistication: it's a slim vibrator that also functions as a necklace.

"I was always disappointed at the lack of aesthetically elegant toys in this space," Ti Chang told CH in an interview a few years back. Chang rejected the neon colors and rubbery textures in favor of objects that were timeless, dignified and beautiful. "Crave as a company has become more sophisticated technologically where we can create compelling products in such a tiny package. So it was a natural evolution of our next generation of jewelry items," she says of her latest project.

The Vesper may be small—but weak, it is not. "Vesper utilizes a wide range of manufacturing processes to bring such a highly functional product to life in such a small package. Naturally there is a single motor and battery; the exterior parts are both CNC-machined as well as custom-made stainless steel tubing. The interior has a small circuitboard controller, and other custom-machined and silicone molded parts that support the core function," explains Chang. Essentially, a tiny button turns the quiet vibrator on and off, and there are four adjustable modes: low, medium, high and pulse. The vibrator can detach from the chain, and it recharges simply via USB. The most attractive factor, though, is that Vesper starts at an affordable $49—unheard of in the luxury pleasure object world. Whether you are brave enough to wear it to work, to the bar or even for a plane ride, this conversation-starting necklace is one investment that keeps giving—almost any time, any place.

The Vesper is available in three different finishes (silver, rose gold and 24k gold) from $69 online.
