Rare ’80s Vans + Peanuts Collection Reissued
After three decades, the Snoopy range is back for both adults and toddlers
California’s favorite footwear giant announces yet another a killer collaboration for the coming months. While May 2014 saw the introduction of the coveted Star Wars collection, today it’s the impossibly cute Vault by Van + Peanuts collection. The colorful line was originally made for the 1983 commencement of Camp Snoopy at Knott’s Berry Farm outside Los Angeles and now—after 30 years—the limited edition shoes will be reissued. The OG Classics boast the iconic beagle print, alongside those depicting other characters including Lucy, Sally, Peppermint Patty and, of course, Charlie Brown himself. While the prints evoke plenty of nostalgia, the pastel colors are still perfectly contemporary.
The vintage collection is available on the OG SK8-HI LX and OG Era LX shoe styles, with adult and toddler sizes in the classic OG Authentic LX. Though originally sold exclusively at Camp Snoopy, the reissued collection will now be sold at select Vault retailers starting July 2014 for between $40 and $70.
