Jeffery West Shoes

With names like "Fallen Angels" and "Hannibal," the Jeffery-West shoe collectionâthe work of childhood friends Mark Jeffery and Guy Westâfall somewhere between a swanky gentlemen's club and Sweeney Todd's closet. Blood-red leather linings and handmade soles, inscribed with "Decadence, Sleaze and Excess,â ooze with the kind of luxe horror that arguably only Brits can successfully pull off.

Both born in England's historical shoe making area of Northampton, the duo began creating shoes at age 16, slowly gaining experience in both business and shoe design. The upshot makes for a dramatic series of Victorian Gothic-inspired leather shoes that are well-crafted in either England or Italy and allow for complete individuality with their eccentric colors and styles.
Prices span £200-400 and can be purchased online from Jeffery-West or in one of their five shops around England.
