The Brooklyn-based outfitter introduces new luggage pieces and a waxed cotton rain hat

As we’ve seen in the past, waxed cotton is the material of choice for Brooklyn’s d’emploi. Thankfully, that preference continues in their latest drop, geared toward holiday travel and defending against wet fall and early winter weather. Building on the success of previous duffle and backpack designs, founder Kyle Mosholder takes a step in the direction of quick getaways and everyday travel with a new Leather Tote and larger Traveller Tote with zipper closure.

The tough oiled Leather Tote introduces a cleaner, sleeker design aesthetic that Mosholder says may in fact foreshadow what is to come in future seasons, while the more conventional Traveller bag holds true to the current design language with functional details and heavy duty materials. On top of it all, the new Rain Hat—a definite highlight—is made by hand of the same quality waxed canvas with a soft chambray fabric liner. The timeless style reads rad dad through and through, with a stiff brim that’ll surely stand up to even the heaviest rainfalls.
