Watch Drones Build 3D Structures
As the future of drones becomes increasingly more pertinent in the public space, architect Ammar Mirjan has begun studying ways to employ the quadcopters in commercial construction. In a two-part video series with Dezeen and MINI, Mirjan demonstrates how a small fleet of drones can work together to build simple buildings and harmoniously hover around each other as they weave 3D structures in space. He hopes to one day take his experiment outside of the lab to build a temporary structure over a canyon or river.
