The kSafe Smart Jar

For those who can’t resist unnecessary snacking, the new kSafe smart jar is here to help. Developed by Kitchen Safe inventors Ryan Sang and David Krippendorf, the souped-up cookie jar will only unlock its contents once a set goal is achieved. An accompanying app allows users to set either an activity goal, location requirement or time limit—meaning that you’ll have to burn a certain amount of calories or actually show up at the gym to be rewarded. You can currently reserve a kSafe on Kickstarter for $79.
