Blood and Tears
Martinique Sunglasses $250
Bored with spotting the same styles across faces in NYC, Holland-born Alex van Klaveren and Washington native Zoe Nightingale took their mutual obsession with shades to launch The Monocle Order. Their limited edition, Martinique frames in fantastic blue on blue are handcrafted in Turkey using zyl acetate (a renewable resource) from Mazzucchelli—a company long known for its investment in plastics R&D. They use a technique which injects pigment into the plastic, meaning they're that much more brilliant and will last that much longer.
Lange & Söhne
Lange 1 $30,637
This stunning watch is one of just 5,000 produced each year by the holy grail of Saxon watch making. Originally founded in 1845 by Ferdinand Adolph Lange, A. Lange & Söhne shuttered during the post-war Soviet era, only to be reborn in 1990 following the collapse of the East German government. The LANGE 1 was one of the first designs to be re-released, and features Lange’s characteristic oversized date and asymmetrical displays, along with the groundbreaking mechanics and hand-finished perfection for which the iconic manufacturer is so well known.
Applying his signature irreverent style to a beautifully hand-thrown platter by master ceramicist David Bogus, Brooklyn-based illustrator and artist James Victore created a one-of-a-kind dish fit more for your wall than kitchen table. Emblazoned with "Eros"—the Greek god of love—across the top, the unique, collaborative work of art is one for the ages.

As a former member of the iconic punk band Black Flag, and as an artist, Raymond Pettibon has never been afraid to venture into the darker episodes of our country's history. Touching on themes of literature, government, sexuality and sports, often with an anti-authoritarian perspective, Pettibon's work includes fragmented text and recalls the black and white illustrative style of the Ashcan school. His 2000 work "Mickey" comes from an edition of 35 lithographs, and will exist as a noteworthy work in any collection.
