Combining the lightweight portability of a bicycle with the speed and self-propulsion of a motorcycle the Electrobike Pi designed by Marcus Levison-Hays is considered a "human electric hybrid". Able to reach speeds of 20 miles an hour, Pi charges from any standard household outlet in 2.5–3 hours and can run on a single charge for up to 30 miles.
