Renzo Rosso: Diesel Planet Store Fifth Avenue
(17 February 2009) - Fresh off a smoke, Renzo Rosso sat down with us to answer a few questions about Diesel's newest and largest Planet store on swanky Fifth Avenue in NYC. Looking more Mick Jagger than his revered neighbor Armani, it's clear this store is more rock'n'roll than Rockefeller. Located at the corner of 54th Street, the doors open today, just four hours before Renzo bares his Fall...

Holographic Diesel Show
(28 June 2007) - Last week, at the Pitti Immagine Fashion Fair in Florence, Diesel wowed the style crowds with an impressive multimedia show. Using CGI technology, projected motion graphics of models and creatures from the deep created the illusion that they were moving together down the runway along with live models. Diesel Puzzle Sneakers
(22 May 2007) - Dark, sleek, durable and adaptable. Sounds like the bat mobile and looks rather like it—well, that is if the bat mobile was a shoe. The Puzzle Sneaker is the star feature from the upcoming Diesel Autumn/Winter men’s collection. It's actually more than one new shoe, it’s three in one! This may just be a design gimmick or the start of a whole new way...

The Dream of the Fisherman's Wife
(30 May 2006) - Sebastien Agneesens is a riot of candy-hued balloons suggestive of the sensual sea creatures in the original. Unlike Hokusai's nearly 200 year-old print, the thousands of balloons that make up the show are an ephemeral medium; Hackenwerth sees the shrinking and shriveling that occurs as a "process of transformation metaphorically similar to our own short lives." More info and a flyer, after the jump....
