(15 December 2005) - The latest in the Members Only resurrection is this luxe leather collabo (the first of 13 planned) with Alife. Lined in red satin and made from lambskin, the classic racer jacket is the same cut as the original that Members Only first introduced in 1981. The Ball Out
(08 November 2005) - Freshness got the scoop on the Alife x Reebok Tennis ball show we covered earlier: "THE BALL OUT" is an ALIFE/Reebok Court Victory Pump, fabricated by hand entirely out of tennis ball felt. This Week at Refinery29
(04 November 2005) - Refinery29 reminds us that it's never too early to start mulling over gift options. In a league of its very own, ALIFE/Kangol's 'Il Padrino' Fedora box-set has swept into NYC in frustratingly tiny numbers. Another, less flashy option is Jill Platner , a metalsmith and old-school artisan whose jewelry designs are at once rugged and comfortable to wear. Switching coasts, L.A. hipster designer Alex...
Alife Pump Tennis: History Repeating
(01 November 2005) - After yesterday's post on the Alife Tennis Pump, we were pointed to this image of a similarly treated Airwalk from 1995. This just supports my little mantra that there are no new ideas, just great executions. Thanks Ryan. Image via Charlie's Sneaker Pages ...
Alife Pump Tennis
(31 October 2005) - Alife and Reebok have teamed up to redefine the tennis shoe by hybridizing it with a tennis ball. Their Pump Tennis appears to be coated in actual tennis ball felt (click the image to zoom). I don't think it will add much to your game besides distracting your opponent, but will certainly win some cred points. No word yet on availability or edition. Thanks,...
Alife Rebirth
(16 August 2005) - Alife finally reopened last week next to sneaker sporting sister, Alife Rivington Club. The new space is smaller than their their original one on Orchard Street and this time around it's dedicated to selling its eponymous brand. With a tank full of Piranhas and an infinity mirror in the fitting room, the space is a fitting experience of the brand. More details at Refinery29....
HUF San Francisco

There are now three HUF stores in San Francisco, one on Hayes St, and two on Sutter Street-- the newer one on Sutter they're calling "Sutter 816," and is full of hot clothing from folks like Stussy and Alife. They have books and a bunch of other limited edition goodies. The store two doors down, "Sutter 808,"...
