Throwing back to the 80s with a modern attention to detail, the checkerboard pattern is actually created by woven strips of leather. (26 August 2005) - Broken Biscuit is the site for artist Man Chi Loy. Based in Hong Kong, his artwork is both beautiful and chilling for the intensity and sadness it conveys. Designed by Kevin Saer (Slanty Asian Eyed Rebel), the Legacy combines a vintage feel with modern materials. (16 August 2005) - Alife finally reopened last week next to sneaker sporting sister, Alife Rivington Club. The new space is smaller than their their original one on Orchard Street and this time around it's dedicated to selling its eponymous brand. With a tank full of Piranhas and an infinity mirror in the fitting room, the space is a fitting experience of the brand. More details at Refinery29....

(22 July 2005) - I've respected the Considered line of sustainable sneakers from Nike since its launch earlier this year, but I can't honestly say I liked any of the models. Until now. Freshness has pics of the next 4 Considered models, but this Blazer is by far the most hot-to-trot. The color combo is Fall fresh, the Blazer form is classic and the Free sole is innovative....
