+41 Fairtilizer Tee and Peacock Scarf
(02 October 2007) - Maybe because we're excited about the upcoming U.S. release of Control or maybe just because we appreciate any interpretation of Peter Saville's pulsar-inspired design, but either way +41's new Fairtilizer t-shirt turned our head. Developed for a music sharing site (called Fairtilizer) that +41 is art directing, the 100% cotton tee is a nice addition to the rest of their (almost) all black-and-white 2007...

Les Savy Fav: Let's Stay Friends Album and Tour
(28 September 2007) - The first new record in six years deserves a party. And who rocks the party that rocks the body better than Brooklyn's Les Savy Fav? To celebrate last week's way-too-late release of Let's Stay Friends on French Kiss Records, LSF knocked off two sold-out nights in NYC, one in Williamsburg, the other at Bowery Ballroom. CH was lucky enough to survey the damage at...

Four Pairs of Wireless Headphones
(19 September 2007) - I lack the coordination needed to operate a keyboard and mouse while tethered to my computer by the wire on my headphones. To protect my laptop from being thrown across the room by a careless jerk of my head, I invested in a pair of wireless headphones, the Sony IF140s (pictured right), about 10 years ago. They had an infrared transmitter that plugged into...

Now Play It
(07 September 2007) - Whenever I get a tune in my head that I can't get rid of, not only do I end up humming along for hours, but I get an uncontrollable urge to bash it out on my axe - sorry, play it on my guitar. Most other players will no doubt agree, which is why Now Play It is a welcome addition to my bookmarks....

The Lovers
(05 September 2007) - There's nothing like a late night radio discovery. On the brink of sleep Monday, I was jolted wide awake by the witty, sexy, upbeat chansons of The Lovers' lovemaking session on the Rob Da Bank show on Radio 1. A little bit saucy, a little bit kitsch, a little bit tongue-in-cheek and oh so very very French, they make Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin...

Ovi: Music, GPS and Games
(29 August 2007) - By now, you've most likely heard all the Nokia buzz today—great new phones, the N95 is finally coming stateside and the gaming industry continues to go more mobile. We love the expanded 8G memory in the N81 and N95 which allows us to hold more music, photos, games etc. This brings me to what, in my opinion, is subtly some of the biggest news...

Laurie Anderson x Dan the Automator: From The Air
(22 August 2007) - Remastered for its 25th anniversary, the enhanced edition of Laurie Anderson's Big Science was released earlier this summer. Her music, aural soundscape testaments to the rising tide of insecurities, make a fitting contemporary soundtrack. While we're fans of the groundbreaking album as is for its soothing sound and clever lyrics, Dan the Automator's version of her sit single is a rare case of a remix...

First Exposure
(11 July 2007) - Earlier this week Cool Hunting was invited to the First Exposure show in London. An intimate exhibition, there was a vast array of design talent hand-picked with great care by the cutting-edge communications agency Exposure.
