Wacom Cintiq
As you may remember, we're sponsoring the Wacom Cintiq— competitors will be on stage drawing on these LCD tablets which are big enough (21") for the audience to see the work in progress. I dropped by the motion graphics firm UV/Phactory earlier this week to get a demo of the Cintiq and was pretty blown away. The screen is crisp and clear, the surface is nice to draw on and the tools are incredibly precise. I want one.
The Cintiq is available for $2500 at these resellers, though most of them appear to be on backorder until later this month.
