Audi designer Jae Min on the design process behind the A3 e-tron
As Audi gears up for the release of their first-ever electric vehicle, 10 designers and Audi personnel have been enlisted for the A3 e-tron’s e-pilot program. In a new video from the German automaker, 16-year veteran automotive designer Jae Min reflects on the design process and lifestyle experience of the all-electric model, and the euphoria of discovery along the way. “It’s almost like getting into this futuristic train—like a more elegant way of using energy,” he says. The unique conditions that determine EV design give Min and his team the task of deciding how the future of transport will look.
