In honor of the recent publication of Red Dot's annual compendium of contemporary design, here are a few more off-the-radar picks from the most recent crop of designers that have the Red Dot seal of approval. Order your own copy from Red Dot for €78.

For parties on the go or promotional needs, Justincase is a portable bar system that can accomodate all the needed functions, such as sinks and drainage, beer taps, and racks, with a set-up time of about three minutes. Customized to individual needs, the mobile bars start at €2,500.


Capitalizing on the space-maximizing attributes of curved lines, the CleverKitchen (below, left) packs all the characteristics of a traditional kitchen into about eight square feet by way of 180-degree revolving design.
