New York art and fashion collective Nom de Guerre launched its new site just days ago in preparation for the release of its Fall/Winter '05 collection. Their first-ever foray into menswear will feature what the company calls "utilitarian luxury-basics," fashionably simple shirts, sweaters, scarves, and slacks. The subculture-obsessed group, whose flagship Manhattan store is a former Black Panthers hideaway, will be opening up shop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, this August to coincide with the release of its new line. In both locations, you'll also find collaborative clothing efforts with Buzz Ricksons, Adidas, and Mackintosh, as well as joint footwear ventures with Converse, Russell Moccasin Company, and Tricker's.
