1. Midget & Giant

Designer Ryuji Nakamura's tiny paper house fits over a computer's camera, giving the impression that you're peering through a tiny window.

2. Flashkus

Art director Artemy Lebedev developed a conceptual drive without standard plastic components. Superslim and disposable, the 4, 8 and 16GB sticks, called Flashkus, are constructed completely of cardboard and can be drawn on with marker to keep track of what data they contain—"even simpler support" than floppy disks in their day, Lebedev predicts.

3. Back To The Future

Photographer Irina Werning's project Back To The Future takes old photos and recreates them in the modern day with the same subjects. Irina does a fantastic job of matching the color and feel of the vintage film stocks for fantastically nostalgic and endearing result.

4. NoteSlate

A "low technology tablet device" that allows you to write on its matte 13-inch screen just like paper, this Kindle-like gadget launches June 2011 and will sell for $99. Features like USB and SD card ports, a plug for headphones, the option for Wi-Fi connectivity and the capacity to store 70,000 pages represent the best of the burgeoning movement for simple tech.

5. Free Spirit Spheres

If you don't have the cash for one of Tom Chudleigh's spherical Ewok-style treehouses, you at least have the option of experiencing one for a night or two in a Vancouver forest that's home to a hotel consisting of three of the pods suspended 15 feet above the forest floor.

6. És Skateboarding iPad App

This free app not only is an overview of the 15 years of skateboard photography that Atiba Jefferson has shot for És, but comes nicely packaged with and intro by Chris Nieratko and some nice extras. Check out their video to learn more.

7. Roy Samaha: An Artist's Eye on the 2011 Egyptian Revolution

The winner of Leica's In the Footsteps of Great Explorers contest, this Lebanese photographer offers an intimate look at the Egyptian revolution with his deeply moving photos and heartfelt interview.

8. Neü Sex

Adult film's artsy star Sasha Grey is gearing up to release her own photography monograph, taking control of the lens to show how she sees her life and profession. The candid it's available for pre-order from Amazon.
