Glorious Graphics

by Parker Hutchinson in Design on 05 August 2005

We've all long been warned not to judge a book by its cover, but seeing this delectable jacket by designers recent autobiography on spec. The team's online portfolio is a tour of handsomely au courant graphic design. Their works are both modern and organic, featuring a complementary mix of bold typefaces and flowing, organic embellishments with rich textures and odd humor. An affinity for monochromatic palettes contributes to their unusually eye-popping designs that almost literally jump off the screen or page. Non-Format's work has been commissioned for a slew of indie recordings and featured in many print publications, including a four-year art directorship at Wire magazine. View more of their work after the jump, or visit their website for the full archive.
