Running through the end of August at Johansson Projects in Oakland, Radialvedic is a group show featuring the visually stunning works of Jill Gallenstein, Kana Tanaka and Kristina Lewis. Working with different artistic mediums—ink drawings, glass sculptures and finally imaginative transformation of everyday objects—each artist brings to light similar issues and themes regarding nature, elasticity and form.
The show effectively molds together the different art forms exploring "the subtleties of intrigue with simple objects, zippers, needles, ink and glass, transformed into complex and curious spectacles."
