This site is so good I almost kept it to myself. But as it was included in The Guardian’slist of the top 100 most useful sites last December, it’s scarcely a secret. Elegantly laid out, the site displays a keen eye for timeless design and appreciates the fun of |a good gimmick. The best thing about it is it feels like a global, roving report and doesn’t have a narrow, US-centred view of the world. Rubin set it up in February 2003 as a daily update on the intersection of design, culture and technology and fills his own brief brilliantly. Plus, Rubin likes dogs and is a dish.
