Globe-trotting renegade artist Banksy has hit the Middle East, armed with only spray paint and his brazen political wit. The renowned graffitist chose the Palestinian side of Israel's "separation fence" as the target for his latest statement, a series of paintings that both mock the structure and peaceably inspire activists to work toward its removal. No stranger to high-profile stunts, Banksy has previously organized covert and elaborate schemes that have questioned everything from the artistic establishment to the merits of oil trade and war-waging.
