If you're in Chicago and are a fan of graphic design and typography--I'd head over to the Foundation Gallery to check out their latest exhibition called Ascenders/Descenders. I wish I could go and check it out. The exhibition draws together a collection of artists whose work is influenced by typographic elements--understanding typography as more than just a tool, but as a form of expression. It will feature work by Robin Cameron, Lukas Geronimas, Ben Loiz, and Sighn. Foundation Gallery is located in the River West district at 700 North Carpenter Street.
