Marvel Bar, our favorite bar in Minneapolis, has just released the first in a line of candles inspired by classic drinks. The Old Fashioned candle, made in Minnesota, smells of bourbon and smoked orange peel and sits in a Marvel Bar glass used to serve the drink. Once the candle burns out you can use the glass to enjoy an Old Fashioned with the enclosed recipe.

Our signature green hue is painted over the natural leather handle, adding a botanical touch to the the open weave construction. Designed to fit standard 10-inch terra-cotta pots, the planter features copper-plated hardware and is handmade in collaboration with LA-based Mimot Studio in limited quantities in byAMT’s New York City workshop.

Captivated by the vivacity of Neapolitan families frolicking in Italy’s warm summer waters, photographer Brett Lloyd began snapping images of them, hoping to capture the carefree scenes playing out in front of him. Dashwood Books took notice of Lloyd’s work and commissioned him to further document his experiences, resulting in Scugnizzi, a photobook dedicated to the playful children found throughout the streets of Naples.
