Leti is a Brooklyn-based writer with a keen eye for spotting trends and an encyclopedic knowledge of pop culture. Born in Italy to Argentine parents and raised in San Francisco, she has cultivated a bi-coastal and international perspective. Her obsessions include: art about food, Andean knits, children who dress like adults, 1970s social movements, documentaries about cults, the Manson Family, the SLA and Jonestown. Her proclivity towards unique objects that combine cute with creepy, excellent design with esoteric function, high and low culture and other such paradoxical elements makes her an natural born member of Team Cool Hunting.

Graham & Brown Wallpaper
We were recently reminded of Graham & Brown, purveyors of fine wallcoverings, when the Times mentioned their new line designed by Barbara Hulanicki, of Biba fame. The pattern shown here Viva ($60 for a double roll) draws from Hulanicki's Art Nouveau influences. Graham & Brown also carries a variety of designs by several other talents. We love Olivia White's line drawings that make for...

Known for her space-age, mod-influenced designs and her signature look (she dressed in a palette of exclusively turquoise and white for over six years), Turbow recently transitioned into a new colorway of sleek grey and silver. Her Fall 2008 collection, available now at her online store, features sophisticated basics like a Button...
Lowercase Scarf
With its intricate laser-cut pattern, the Lowercase Scarf is a stylish way to express a love of typography. Made from 100% microfiber suede by Hong Kong-based design firm Little Factory, the scarves are available in both black and off-white. The lowercase scarf features neat rows of random letters with English words like "people," "today" and "magnet" scattered throughout like a wearable word search puzzle....
Rubicon Rucksack Baby Bag
Unless you're into the "dad in drag" look, we recommend the Rubicon Rucksack, the most masculine diaper bag we've come across. A rugged buffalo leather bag, it comes with two interchangeable linings that transform it from diaper bag (complete with bottle pockets) to padded laptop bag. The over-the-shoulder rucksack also features a snap-in compartment for a water-resistant diaper pad, custom antique brass baby wipes...
Four Newly-Released Chris Marker Films
By Michael Talbott Every self-respecting cinephile has most certainly seen the haunting 1962 "La Jetée," Chris Marker's new-wave meets sci-fi classic of post-apocalyptic Paris time travel, but few outside film students and obsessive arthouse attendees have had opportunity to catch any of his roughly 40 documentaries. Self-described as the “Best-Known Author of Unknown Movies,” the unavailability of Marker's work has been a tragic gap...
