Yves Behar x Pact Underwear by Karen Day

pact-1.jpg

Launching today, Pact makes wearing eco-friendly underwear all the more friendly. Partnering with famed industrial designer and futurist Yves Behar, the brand refashions how people perceive apparel in the 21st century by considering every aspect of bringing their product to market through a socially conscious lens, starting with the integration of a social aspect into the design itself.

Limned with graphics (see detailed images after the jump) inspired by the missions of three different nonprofits—826 National, ForestEthics and Oceana—10% of Pact's sales support the respective causes. For those who prefer underthings with a little less pizazz, each of the three styles for men and women come in solid colors with pattern accents.

All of the designs are made in Turkey, 100 miles from where the cotton is grown and cultivated, eliminating unnecessary shipping waste. To lessen the environmental impact even more, Behar and his team at Fuseproject helped come up with the reusable cloth bag packaging and compostable shipping bags.
