Furni Creations collaborated with skateboarder and artist Don Pendleton on two alarm clocks to help support the Element Skateboards Awareness Program. Made from 200 year-old wood from a barn in the Swiss Alps and hand painted by Pendleton in his signature style, all of the proceeds go towards Element's work with youth to help develop self-esteem and tools to lead productive and happy lives through skateboarding.
For this particular project Furni used wood donated by their longtime friend, Jason Frenette, who felt the wood from his former Swiss Alps home could go to no better use than the Element Awareness campaign.
Don Pendleton got his start in Ravenswood, West Virginia but currently resides in Dayton, Ohio. With his skateboard lifestyle and passion for art, he decided to focus his energy on skateboard graphics, painting and other various projects. He has proven himself to the skateboard industry as one of best in the business.
The clocks are up for auction on eBay until 25 May 2009, so click to start bidding! See another image after the jump.

Keren Richter's illustrations of creepy-cute mod girls and ethereal dreamscapes have graced many gallery walls, advertisements and products. In fact she's such a hit Vans asked her to design another shoe for their spring collection, following the success of her first pair last fall. The Wellesley skate shoe comes in two colorways, purple or pink, and features an illustration inspired by Keren's San Francisco youth on...
Sure I may be a bit biased towards this tee because the art features my dog Branson (named after multimillionaire Richard Branson) and was done by my good buddy Evan at Curse of the Multiples but there's no arguing that the gents over at Holiday Matinee are onto something good. Their current artist series sees monthly releases of some great t-shirts for a great...
