Cool Hunting Video Presents: Pixação by Cool Hunting Video
Covering buildings throughout São Paulo, pixação is a style of graffiti native to Brazil and known for its simple, angular lines. In this episode of Cool Hunting Video, we tour the city streets with Joao Wainer, photographer and co-director of a documentary on the subject, who fills us in on the culture and history.

Cool Hunting Video Presents: Os Gemeos
The world of Brazilian street artists Os Gemeos (aka identical twins Otavio and Gustavo Pandolfo) is a slightly surreal, colorful and wildly-patterned one, populated with people and animals, boats and pyramids and cars and music. In this video we visit their world, interviewing the brothers at work on an installation that took place earlier this year at Deitch Projects in downtown Manhattan. They discuss...

Cool Hunting Video Presents: Electric Windows
Bringing together 24 street artists from all over the world, Electric Windows is a semi-permanent installation of large-scale work exhibited on the exterior windows of a 19th century blanket factory in Beacon, NY. We traveled to the small town earlier this year to meet some of the artists and watch them make "urban art" in a not-so-urban setting. We also interview one of the...

Also, their good friend and mentor Barry McGee has previously showed at the Museum Het Domein. The twins pulled off a feat,...

Street World
The new project from Roger Gastman, Caleb Neelon and Anthony Smyrski, Street World: Urban Art and Culture from Five Continents, clocks in at nearly 400 pages of full-color images of all the street culture we knew we loved (graffiti, fashion, skateboarding, and so on) with plenty of more esoteric global happenings. Think pigeon keeping, protests, activism, drum lines, urban exploration, signage and plenty of...
