Alphabet Bags by Karen Day

The simple, heavyweight cotton Alphabet Bags from the creators of Keep Calm Gallery are now available in every urbanite's favorite color—black. With the same classic typography as the first round of totes, Keep Calm screen prints each one in the UK and offers up the letter of your choice.
Designed by business partners and couple Hayley Thwaites and Lucas Lepola, the bags are £12 and can be purchased online.

Brain Bag
Known for stretching the fashion limits with his avant garde design for the label Undercover, Jun Takashi recently came out with this Brain Bag. An intricate knit of wool resembling the three-pound jelly structure encapsulated by the skull, it's playful but also looks mature and sophisticated and holds its own among other designer handbags. I will spare you most of the puns, but for...

From left to right are examples by Eero Aarnio, Barber Osgerby, Sebastian Wrong and Marcel Wanders. Along with the others, they can be...

São Paulo’s Atelier Urbano is a house of style and inspiration when it comes to their chic bags. The handmade Winter 2007 collection (northern and southern hemispheres have opposite seasons) employ macramé weaving, special leathers, hardware details, mosaic and quilted patterns into purses that urge their owners to consider them the first integral part of an outfit rather than just a final complementing component....

Conphorm Bags
This new anthropomorphic accessory by Conphorm is in keeping with the California-based company's mission to reveal the "inherent relationships between structure and function." Constructed of pressed felt made from excess factory material (mostly wool), the "Carry" bag lays completely flat when unzipped for easy storage and dry cleaning, and when zipped it turns into a smiling face with numerous possible functions. Available with orange...

Longchamp ANDAM Bags
Celebrating 20 years of ANDAM (Association Nationale pour le Développement des Arts de la Mode), Longchamp tasked fashion designers Bless, Jeremy Scott and Charles Anastase (all past winners of the covered ANDAM endowment) with interpreting their Le Pliage bag. We particularly love Bless' clever take on the classic, taking the foldable design and re-engineering it so that the handle can fold inside itself and...
