Bodum Clara Borosilicate Kettle
by Ami Kealoha
Made from near-indestructible borosilicate glass, Bodum's new Clara kettle makes tea time into a better-tasting and more visual experience. The non-porous glass doesn't give off any odors or flavors, which is a must for the more delicate white and green teas out there. It's suitable for use on gas, ceramic or electric stovetops, as well as for use in microwaves (provided the lid and whistle are off).
Overall, we dig the compact size, quality materials, the dash of color and the laboratory feel of the white text printed on its surface—who ever said tea time had to be precious?
The Clara is $60 from Bodum.
Element Carbon Fiber and Helium Skateboard
by Max Gold

Element Skateboards furthers the evolution of the skateboard deck with their new Push Construction Positive Negative Series.
The Push Deck is a skateboarding paradox. Lighter than any other deck, it's also more durable.
This innovative structure is a result of the combination of the responsiveness and power of carbon fiber with the durability of Element's own featherlight helium construction (i.e. there's air inside). The upshot is a deck that sets a new standard for high-impact skateboarders. Bloggers have even gone as far as to call it "indestructible."
The designs, the "Darrell", the "Muska", and the "Tave," are the first three to be released in the Positive Negative series. We're fans for the way the brand is reinventing skateboard construction while staying true to eco-friendly values. The wood is a result of responsible foresting; only selectively harvested trees are used in these decks.
The premium deck runs $79 and there are still a few designs in stock on Element's site.
Head Porter Plus White Button-Down Shirt
by Tim Yu

The classic white button-down is a staple and possibly the closest thing we have to an official CH uniform. For the modern man, it just might be the most important and versatile garment in their closet. But with all the variety out there, choosing the right one is harder than it seems. The best I've seen this season is the Head Porter Plus White Dress Shirt.
What makes Head Porter Plus' version different (and the perfect summer shirt) are hidden mesh inserts at the upper back and underarms providing extra ventilation in hopes of avoiding sweat and stains. Made of 100% cotton, the Head Porter Plus logo is uniquely placed on the side of the shirt and the buttons are genuine pearl exclusively.
Not a brand to be swayed by the current trends, the Head Porter collar is neither fat nor thin and lies at a traditional angle making for a rather timeless cut. Taking into account the label's high standard of craftsmanship and design, this is a white dress shirt that could last you a very long time.

Purchase it at the refreshed online shop, The Glade, for €149.

Spaced Out: Radical Environments of the Psychedelic Sixties
by Letizia Rossi
"Spaced Out: Radical Environments of the Psychedelic Sixties" explores the crash pads, hippie communes, infinity machines and other far-out dwellings of the time period. Author Alastair Gordon, whose other works have dealt primarily with the clean modernism of airports and mid-century Hamptons homes, turned his attention to the design, architecture and visual culture of LSD-inspired era, much of which hadn't been adequately preserved or documented until now.
The full-color over-sized book features a stunning collection of 450 photographs and color illustrations of geodesic domes, elaborate trailers, tree-houses and the people who inhabited them. (See more images after the jump.) The message is clear: self-taught architects who created the free-form asymmetrical structures with curving walls and womb like interiors were working in direct defiance of the white picket fence suburban culture they felt was toxic.

You can read experts and see videos of light projects by Tony Martin on the Spaced Out website. The book is available starting today from Amazon.
