An invitation-based online service, Ffffound allows members to post and share their favorite images—from '70s album covers to contemporary art and outer space nebula— from the web. Like Amazon and Netflix, the site dials up similar images for perusal according each user's tastes and interests. Members save their favorite images, creating an ever-expanding grownup version of a picture book on the web.

The truly beautiful part of the site is the sweet, almost analog (in a good way) feel. Click on “New for you!” to browse member's posts. The intercepted images can be paged through and loaded in list or tile view. I’m also happy to report it works well on iPhones; add it to your homescreen for quick access.

My favorite part of the Ffffound experience is it does not require the user to fill out lengthy profiles, so there is no commitment/obligation to update a profile. Currently, new user registration to Ffffound is through invitation only. If you want to become a member, you’ll have to find a member and hope they will share. (Thanks to KVR for sharing!)

Boundless Gallery
We're always a fan of a good website stemming from simple ideas that have been competently executed. BoundlessGallery is one such site that connects thousands of artists from all over the world with potential buyers and clients, creating a global art marketplace that excludes the corpulent art dealer in the middle. After just a cursory look at some of the artists added in the...
MINI Clubman: The Other View
Flashmobs might be so five years ago, but MINI's latest campaign to promote the new Clubman, (i.e. "the other mini"), adopts the concept for an online series of videos. Starting tomorrow, 28 September 2007, at 4pm BST, they will release a weekly 15-second surrealist interpretation of an everyday event that will only be available on The Other View site for one minute—if you enter three...
Scroogle Search Engine
Did you know that every Google search you make is recorded and archived by the company? Privacy-minded folks point out that as Google has become part of our everyday lives, our tastes and preferences on the net give away a lot more than we'd normally share with a stranger, let alone a corporation with nearly 14,000 employees worldwide. While Google keeps your search terms...
