Death/Traitors: Spring 08 by Doug Black

t.jpg d.jpg

It's hard for a t-shirt operation to define itself when it seems like everyone and their friend-who-dropped-out-of- art-school is printing their own line. That hasn't been a problem for Brooklyn's Death/Traitors, who recently added to their inimitable collection of loosely cult-themed streetwear. The spring line offers a healthy dose of satanic messages and roman numerals, with enough pyramids and all-seeing eyes to fill an Illuminati membership bulletin. In addition to tees, they're currently offering sweatshirts and some remaining cold weather gear.

You can buy Death/Traitors goods in a handful of shops or on their internet store, which is the only place you'll find their historically-conscious Anne Frank "Stop Snitching" tee.

Vintage Vantage Tees
Spring has sprung and summer is hot on its heels, and when I think summer I think t-shirts and when I think t-shirts nothing comes to mind quicker than those that are buttery soft and vintage-inspired, like those from our good buddies at Vintage Vantage. Choosing to do things right and develop their own t-shirt fabric from scratch, combining clever slogans and quirky graphics has...
Acronym Etaproof Tec Sys Shorts
Although it's snowing today, the first day of Spring, in NYC, while looking for a versatile pair of shorts I found these Swiss-made Acronym Etaproof Tec Sys Shorts which might be all I need for the coming summer months. Acronym's consistent high attention to detail (technical and otherwise) is what made us fans in the first place and this short is no different. Although...
Welcome to Toddland
After noticing a killer one-piece jumpsuit called the "Conchord" online we asked ourselves, “Who would make such a great piece?” Below are the answers we got back after exchanging a few emails full of intrigue and wit with one of the founders (Todd) of the clothing line Toddland. It's the story of a little company that started with a bunch of friends wanting to make...
Homage Tees
Absolutely the softest tees we've found outside of the aged threads at Salvation Army are coming from Ohio. The appropriately named outfit, Homage, pays tribute to sports teams and so much more with their clever graphics and nostalgic sentiment printed onto brand new, worn-out cotton tees. Homage began with a license to distribute Ohio State University gear, but with big aspirations and the desire to...
