Cool Hunting
Not everyone has welcoming outer ears to the standard iPhone earbuds. While we haven't found the perfect replacement, the V-Moda VIBE Duos deliver the best combination of functionality, sound and in-the-ear fit.
The VIBE Duos feature the inline mic and button to switch between music and incoming phone calls similar to the Apple iPhone stereo headset. This is a must for smoothly handling unexpected calls while listening to your tunes. It also features noise-isolating (BLISS) technology to reduce ambient noise and enable deep bass, which is great—but the highs maybe slightly lacking for the true audiophiles. Six pairs (S,M,L) of included silicone ear fittings in clear and black make for a customized secure fit.
Available in three colors, the V-Moda VIBE Duos have the all-important iPhone compatible plug and are available from V-Moda's online store for $101. But forget spending cash, we've got two pairs in the rare "gunmetal rouge" colorway (pictured) to give away.
To get your hands on a pair, follow the contact link at the bottom of the page, select "V-Moda Vibe Duo Giveaway" from the pull-down menu and send us your name and address. We'll pick two lucky winners at random. Contest ends this Friday, 11 January 2008, 11:59pm EST.

I swear I'm not that big of a nerd, but anything that kind of reminds me of Star Wars is just totally awesome, especially when it happens to look like the Death Star. The Orb from mStation is just that, a sleek and stylish "Made for iPod" desktop docking station/speaker system that, just like the name suggest, is an orb that packs a powerful...
Shure today announced their new sound-isolating SE110 earbud. The innovation comes from a speaker shrunk down to micro size that boasts more high-frequency, making for earphones with the exceptional sound quality we've come to expect from Shure at a more accessible price point. Designed for iPod and iPhone (yes, the plug fits) users who ditch Apple's headphones in favor of better designs, the SE110s...
So you have an iPhone and high-quality earphones but never the two shall meet. Belkin makes an adapter that at least fits the recessed headset jack on the iPhone, but what if you want to talk on the phone? The MPA-3C from Shure will do the trick. With a plug that fits and a built-in microphone, this adapter will work with your Shure earbuds...
Our Nike + Contest generated hundreds of entries—most of them wrong. Nearly two-thirds named Fred Lorz, who was disqualified from the 1904 St. Louis Olympics for using a car (nice try all of you claiming it was a horseless carriage), but the winner (chosen at random from the correct submissions) is CH reader NL, who writes: "Spiridon Belokas is the name of the Greek...
Burton has set the bar for integrating music with snowboarding gear. First was the Amp jacket with on-sleeve iPod controls, then the Amp backpack, also with iPod integration. Now for the Fall is the headphone beanie which keeps your head warm and full of tunes-- just plug it in to whatever music player you have. They actually did these last year too, but it...
