Art Prints from Peepshop by Letizia Rossi

setsail.jpg houselucy.jpg vessels.jpg

London-based illustration collective Peepshow has an amazing selection of art prints for sale on their website. The prints are made in a limited edition of 30 and are all signed and numbered by the artists.

My favorites are Set Sail by Luke Best (pictured above center, £50), House by Lucy Vigrass (pictured above right, £50) and Vessels by Jenny Bowers (£75), which are individually hand finished with gold leaf detailing.

Destined to become treasured keepsakes, these prints make lovely gifts and are a great way to support the art and design community.

Giles Round at ICA
Native Londoner Giles Round creates sculptures and assemblages that resemble the confounding models of a minimalist stage set designer and his work is currently being shown at London's Institute of Contemporary Arts. Rectilinear frames evoke the woodwork of Donald Judd, twisting in space to create volumes into which he introduces monochromatic panels, lights and typographic studies. Like other minimalist artists before him, Round appropriates...
China Design Now
A look at the creative energy in modern China, China Design Now chronicles the recent cultural rebirth brought on by a combination of global influences and the rediscovery of China's pre-Socialist traditions. Opening 15 March 2008 at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the exhibit explores three cities beginning with Shenzhen, where graphic designers have been experimenting with new concepts since the 1990s....
Atelier Van Lieshout: Furniture
The London creative scene is keeping us on our toes. No sooner than we recovered from the excitements of the 2007 London Design Festival, it was time to get revved up for the London art fairs. We experienced Pulse London and the enormity of Frieze (more to come on that), but we started out at Design Art London, the organizers of which had clearly...
It's Pop It's Art: Imagine by John Lennon
Someone once said to me if "Imagine" by John Lennon was never played again, it wouldn't matter, given how deeply embedded in popular culture it is. Love it or hate it, I bet all of you could sing it to yourselves right now. Me, I'm a lover, which is why I'm really pleased this print from Airside is now finally available as part of...
