2007 Gift Guide: CH x Furni Farmer Watch Giveaway by Ami Kealoha

We're stoked about our latest addition of the Farmer Watch to this year's gift guide, because it's the result of a collaboration of yours truly with our Canadian friends Furni. The all-white Farmer is an '80s-style LCD watch with lime green accents, engraved with "we're on the hunt, we're after you" on the reverse. Featuring an alarm, hourly alert, stopwatch, 12 or 24-hour time display and a green backlight, the PVC watch has all the basics—all secondary to its retro style.

To celebrate the launch, we're giving away 10 watches to 10 CH readers. All you have to do to enter is follow the contact link at the bottom of the page, select "CH x Furni Farmer Watch Giveaway" from the pull-down menu and send us an email before Tuesday, 27 November 2007, 11:59pm EST.

To purchase the watch for your whole family, all your friends, co-workers, acquaintances, enemies, doctors, friends of friends, etc., go to Furni and pick it up for $24.

Horological Machine No. 3
I was lucky enough to be one of the first people in the world to see the latest from Maximilian Büsser & Friends last week. Max and Stephen Hallock of MB&F met me for breakfast at NYC's Brasserie to unveil the most amazing of their Horological Machines yet. I hate to use one word to describe the HM3 Sidewinder and Starcruiser but here it...
Albert Einstein's Longines Watch Up for Auction
We think this gold Longines watch is probably one of the more interesting objects you could own from Albert Einstein. He once said, "the separation between past, present, and future is only an illusion, although a convincing one." Too bad we can't ask him what a real timepiece should look like. If you'd like to own Einstein's personal Swiss wristwatch from 1930, here is...
Hysek Colosso Watch
Perhaps the next James Bond villain with plans to dominate the planet can use this newly announced Hysek "Colosso" to time his greedy destruction. The most obvious tool is the crystal pustule filled with a dimensional earth that rotates to tell local or GMT time but the massive size suits evil of any stature. And of course, the French watchmaker has appropriately priced it...
Zero-G Watch
by Kyle Small Tokyoflash is famous for making unique and unusual watches, pushing the limits of time telling. We often find the light shows a little too flashy but the mix of retro styling and an innovative display make the Zero-G appealing. With a sleek and slender profile, you might not have the hardest time telling the time (although it still takes a little getting...
