Clae Footwear Fall 2007 by Tim Yu

ClaeGarvey.jpg ClaeLangston.jpg ClaeParker.jpg

Back in 2004 I tried to get my hands on a pair of Claes, which proved impossible because they were no longer in production. Lucky for me, they're back. After a three-year hiatus Clae footwear returns this fall with a diverse collection of some new styles and old favorites. A mix of sport, style, shoe and sneaker, the brand consistently delivers quality shoes that walk a tightrope between the office and the bar. The product of former PNB Nation, DVS, Lakai, and Sperry footwear contributors, Clae represents that hard to reach aesthetic of subtle street.

Starting at $90, purchase and see the full line here.

Clear Box
Taking sneaker obsessions to another level, this Clear Box, by Japanese designer Neo, is actually useful when choosing which shoes to wear and good-looking—well, depending on which pair you have in there. Perfect for those who have a grip of sneakers or even just to display a prized possession, we think the plexiglass box would make for good stock packaging for a sneaker company...
Twelve Pairs of Men's Fall Shoes
by Piera Gelardi and Christene Barberich Walking, driving, dashing, or just dinner and a movie, each of our top fall shoes has a street-smart timelessness that forgoes any passing trends. A sheepskin-lined ankle boot by A.P.C., waxed cotton brogues from Rachel Comey and ultra-glossy navy sneakers by Common Projects top our list…and yield a whole new generation of shoes that will finish a fellow...
Ubiq Fall/Winter 2007
Japanese brand Ubiq always comes up with head-turning, sometimes offbeat designs when it comes to their footwear. The latest 2007 Fall/Winter collection is no different. My favorites from the group have to be the Braska and Bernadette models. A mid-cut boot, the Braska (right) is not as clunky as most urban hiking alternatives. The most innovative feature is the gator-like fleece sock appended to...
Art Force One Sneakers
Manu Angot has become pretty well known in recent years for his Manu Customs. Specializing in hand-painted designs on everything from shoes to electronics, Manu has created quite a name for himself with his brand Art Force One. On our recent trip to Paris, we discovered that there was more to Manu than Nikes and Reeboks. Walking into Aimecube in the 1st Arrondisement, we...
