From the Hips by Evan Orensten
From the Hips: A Comprehensive, Open-Minded, Uncensored, Totally Honest Guide to Pregnancy, Birth, and Becoming a Parent was written by recent moms and longtime friends Rebecca Odes and Ceridwen Morris when they couldn't find the kind of book they were looking for when they were pregnant and just had their children. It offers tips on everything during pregnancy to integrating the baby into your home. There's also a helpful resource guide to all things baby related.
Designed and illustrated by Rebecca, the book is colorful and well designed, and is a great complement to their blog—The New Mom.
The book came out today, and is available at Amazon and other retailers.

Day14
Bill Griffin and Andy Maw (Day14) asked 18 artists what was a source of wonder to them as a child. The result is an online gallery, book and exhibit of work from Neville Brody, Pete Fowler, eboy, Rinzen, Michael Gillette and others. Each piece is on a 1 meter square canvas. While the topic may seem a little hoakey, the work is rather outstanding....
