The Rasterbator in Color by Tim Yu

RasterbatorSchool.jpg RasterbatorTheKiss.jpg

Apartment Therapy recently reminded us about the Rasterbator. Not the sort of thing one might deduce from the name alone, the Rasterbator is a free easy-to-use service that allows you to upload any image to their site and they will send it back blown up as a series of pdfs. Now available in color, piecing the image back together results in a huge decorative poster and provides an alternative to wallpaper.

Rasterbate your image here.

Cool Hunting favorite Phil Toledano recently released a photo essay titled Days With My Father. A touching compilation of photos taken after the death of Toledano's mother, the images give an intimate look at the father-son relationship and serve as a time capsule of the period. Curse of the Multiples Posters
Who doesn't like a well-designed super-affordable poster in these times of economic crisis? Lucky for us, Montreal based designer Evan Melnyk recently quit working for "the man" and decided to go it alone as a freelance graphic designer under the moniker "Curse of the Multiples." In addition to designing for select private clients, he's also decided to put his money where his mouth is...
Ride the City
To those who enjoy their status as breathing, sentient beings, riding a bicycle in New York City can be daunting. Aggressive taxis, delivery trucks and carelessly opened doors create a minefield that makes casual cyclists want to hang up their Schwinn. But New York can be safely navigated. Though it's painfully inferior to European cities, it does have a growing network of relatively safe...
