Nico Magazine by Tim Yu

NicoMagazine.jpg

Once a small lifestyle magazine covering local Luxembourg, Nico is about to launch their first bi-annual internationally distributed issue. A diverse collective of contributors from around the globe create a cohesive view of progressive pop and off-the-radar culture through the simple formula of "interviews and fashion."

Focusing on emerging talents in fashion, photography, art, design and illustration, the first edition will hit international newsstands on 21 April 2007. Like the Luxembourg original (which existed from 2004-2006), Nico will feature interviews with experts in the magazine industry as well as eye-candy in the form of fashion shoots with up-and-coming designers and stylists. Hefty at 244 pages, the high-gloss issues are sumptuously designed.

Annual subscriptions are available for €20 in Europe and €30 for the rest of the world here.

Looking more Mick Jagger than his revered neighbor Armani, it's clear this store is more rock'n'roll than Rockefeller. Located at the corner of 54th Street, the doors open today, just four hours before Renzo bares his Fall...
