Fetty of Brooklyn NY Rocks Necklace by Ami Kealoha
A twist on the old "diamond in the rough" adage, these pendants by Fetty of Brooklyn are made from a rock found in the streets of NYC set with a small champagne diamond. The subtle sparkle and contrasting materials make for a winning combo, especially hung on it's 16" oxidized sterling silver chain. These necklaces (as if the first bad pun wasn't enough) are literally glam rock—which makes sense since the same people behind Fetty are also members of the NYC "garage glam rock" band Semi Precious Weapons.
NY Rocks necklaces are available for $95 each (plus shipping and handling) from Alter by calling +1 718 784 8818.

Canadian jewelery outfit Miju's latest creation is a delicately poetic necklace of a bird, inspired by an image from a timeless children's bedtime story. The new design recreates the character in 2" x 3" acrylic pendant with two ruby-red beads hanging from chains standing in for drops of blood. Its larger scale, juxtaposition of materials and macabre subject matter make for an irreverently elegant...
