Fetty of Brooklyn NY Rocks Necklace by Ami Kealoha

Ny Rocks Fetty 1 Sm

A twist on the old "diamond in the rough" adage, these pendants by Fetty of Brooklyn are made from a rock found in the streets of NYC set with a small champagne diamond. The subtle sparkle and contrasting materials make for a winning combo, especially hung on it's 16" oxidized sterling silver chain. These necklaces (as if the first bad pun wasn't enough) are literally glam rock—which makes sense since the same people behind Fetty are also members of the NYC "garage glam rock" band Semi Precious Weapons.

NY Rocks necklaces are available for $95 each (plus shipping and handling) from Alter by calling +1 718 784 8818.

Polly van der Glas Jewelry
Plenty are on the "let's recycle and reuse" bandwagon these days but few have looked at really reusing what we have quite like Melbourne-based jewelry designer Polly van der Glas. Sourcing her materials from friends and family who have been kind enough to offer (actual) parts of themselves, van der Glas created a stunningly innovative debut collection which features human hair and teeth. Already...
Mad.Elephant Jewelry
We love the ingenuity of Mad.Elephant's jewelery designs, which includes items as disparate as chicken bone knuckle ring, a 22-caliber bullet shell bracelet and a dove's foot bracelet. Of her work she says, "Art is the filter in my brain that sorts through and deals with all the thoughts in my head which are numerous and sometimes hard to deal with. I heal myself...
