Daniel Ivarsson For Diesel by Leonora Oppenheim

Dieselivarsson Dieselivarsson2

The winner of last year’s International Talent Support Diesel Award was a young fashion designer from Sweden by the name of Daniel Ivarsson. A graduate of London’s Royal College Of Art, he was chosen as the winner for his “Odyssey Of Black” collection inspired by Rock 'n' Roll, bikers and tattoos. Daniel’s prize was a stint at the Diesel headquarters in Italy designing a five-piece capsule collection for Diesel. This creative enterprise is now complete and Daniel’s mini collection, carrying a customized label with his name, was recently presented at the Diesel flagship store in London. Daniel’s five pieces—in black of course—for the menswear collection, complement Diesel’s edgy street style aesthetic while also bringing in some interesting angles and cutting techniques to distinguish his individual style. The Daniel Ivarsson Diesel Collection will be available to buy in flagship Diesel stores worldwide starting in April.

Known for taking pictures of skateboarders, like any good photographer, Yelland loves his camera. But unlike most other photographers, he fanatically draws his Leica. He looks for interesting subjects when he takes photos, but when he draws,...
Nikicio Clothing
by Ezra Natalia Established in 2006, Nikicio is an Indonesia-based label that infuses humor into traditional menswear-inspired cuts. Creative Director Nina Nikicio's wit shows up in a quirky embroidered dress, quilted bags and a hand-embroidered blanket. Her first collaboration, called Millimeter, with Ginetta Dadia, a young talented accessories designer is also a playful approach to fashion, using colorful hand print-shaped designs. Nikicio's anti-fashion approach, ignores...
Alife x Lacoste Polo
by Ariston Anderson Are there ever days when you want to roll in to work on your skateboard but still have to look somewhat presentable? Well, the latest collaboration between purveyor of all things sneaker, Alife, and French sportswear mogul, Lacoste, is a polo shirt that is the perfect combination of preppy and punk. Featuring the largest alligator ever to grace a (legitimate) Lacoste shirt,...
