For the next week you can see my finds on Moto-à-Porter, a "super blog" covering São Paulo's Fashion Week. Created by the creative team ag407 for Motorola, the site is part of the lounge they've set up (pictured) and Moto-à-Porter is already full of posts by the cast of 12 Brazilian bloggers and four international bloggers (Cool Hunting, Face Hunter, Trendwatching and World Changing). Today you can even see some reporting about the talk I gave on mobile technology and Cool Hunting Video.

Lane Marinho Accessories
São Paulo-based Lane Marinho's marvelous eponymous accessories line is a new takes on classic brooches and necklaces. Painstakingly constructed by hand—in some cases taking more than an entire day to finish just one—her Rococo-inspired creations are stunning examples of her close study of sewing and embroidery. Marinho cites the concept of nature's Golden Ratio as it relates to plants and flowers to explain some...
Rödel Latin America
Helen Rödel is positively masterful at knitwear. The crocheted dresses made under her signature Rödel Latin America line are carefully constructed by hand, with no help or finishes done by a sewing machine whatsoever. This obvious dedication to quality that is only surpassed by the design of the dresses themselves is what makes her one of the most promising underground designers in Brazil I've...
B.Luxo Store
Adding to the list of São Paulo's top 2008 success stories, the duo behind the Freakstyle street fashion blog and sought-after B.Luxo Vintage store have just opened another boutique, this time under a strictly conceptual guise. The idea is that they pick out only a handful of national apparel and accessories designers—like Rödel LA and Andre Lacerdo—who aren't selling in any other stores, as...
Brazil Fashion Cruise
Like EasyJet's shuffleboard-free EasyCruises, the first-ever Brazil Fashion Cruise promises a reinvented cruising experience. The trip in a Sophia Loren-inaugurated Italian naval ship sets sail from Santos (near São Paulo) on 1 February 2008 and heads up the Brazilian coast to visit four cities over the course of a week, while entertaining guests in the world of fashion, music and art. Though it's definitely...
