Made from vintage Nixie Tubes (old-school electronic displays) reclaimed after sitting for 30-60 years in Russian warehouses, the exquisite K7 Klok Kit will win over DIYers and design geeks alike. Industrial designer Mike Mayberry custom fabricates the limited edition, aircraft aluminum housing that he sells along with the tubes as a kit for home assembly. The beauty of the ten layered electrodes glowing orange with overlapping dimension can only be appreciated when it's right in front of you. See more info and a link to a video here.
The K7 starts at $129 and tops out at $295 for the largest size tubes and can be ordered through Klok Modern—supplies are limited, so act quickly!. A few more parts are required, which Mayberry provides links for here.

The Mystic Wall Clock is a quiet addition to the new crop of products on Personal Interior Design, the Swedish internet shop. With no numbers and barely discernible hands, it's certainly not the most efficient timepiece. But what it lacks in logical components, it makes up for in eeriness. Designed by Matt Carr for Umbra, the clock's hazy finish lends an ethereal notion to...
Alessi's classic wire basket has graced the counters and tables of the terminally chic since its debut in 1951. At MoMA's request Alessi has developed a slight variation of these baskets, coating the stainless steel in brightly colored epoxy-polyester paint for the two limited edition styles. The Alessi square red wire basket ($110) and round yellow wire basket ($85) are available exclusively from the...

Designed by Maximillian Riedel (also responsible for leading the stemless revolution) and his father Georg and handmade by artisans in their Austrian factory, the leaded crystal vessels are all aerodynamic lines and dramatic dimensions. While the Swan (above...
We have a winner! Of the dozens of entries, voters at Popdeck narrowed it down to three and after a close vote here at the CH headquarters, we ultimately chose CSJ 89's hyperbolic take on OCD. The contorted facial expressions interpret OCD in its worst form, depicting a visceral reaction to something as seemingly inconsequential as misaligned fringe on a rug. Limited in quantity—only...
